Does this make sense to you?

Ive been pulling reefers for more than a couple years now,so there was no need for me to pick up my doubles or tankers really. So today I go into the DMV to add on my Dbls/tnkrs,when I get to the counter and get my paperwork to fill out (after waiting in line 2 hours),my number gets called.I go to the window, she says its going to be $34???? Just to add doubles and tankers.I end up having to take a new picture(waited in line 30 minutes for that),then had to go to another line, the line waiting to take written tests (another 20 minutes). My license doesnt even expire til 2010!When I get to the backroom to take the two endorsement tests, she says the other lady made a mistake and im going to have to take my ENTIRE COMMERCIAL DRIVERS LICENSE TEST,but I took it a little over 2 years ago again.Once again, they want me to renew my entire license just to add my two endorsements, and my license doesnt even expire til 2010.I would of taken the entire CDL test again right there, thats not the problem,I had a dentist appt though that I was already running late for.The problem was why should I have to go through the whole process just to add on 2 endorsements?! God I hate Cali more and more.

Hmmm thats weird, I know Illinois it's only $5 to add or remove endorsements.

I think you answered your question with one word.......CALIFORNIA!!!

Enough said. I think they should treat that state just like Mexico....drop yard in Reno and Kingman and let them take their stuff in.

Well-placed explosives all along the fault line. I say we just dump that lousy state into the ocean once and for all. It's like Christmas, waiting for that to happen.

I thought Cali. WAS another country

MartenDrvrCA,no offense, but don't move Arizona....for some silly reason we (a majority of the state) hate Californians.

Time to build big ole warehouses in Reno and Vegas, Medford.

The way things are going, CA will either burn up into ashes, slide off intot he water, or shake it self apart. No great loss. :D

Actually, ive been having my eyes on flagstaff.I feel so welcome now    jk.but seriously I am contemplating FS,AZ. Wonder if anybody on here has ever spent any substantial amount of personal time there....

Syncrosonix 07-25-2008 04:00 PM

flagstaff is great during the winter. other than that, i stay away from it. it's equally annoying as tempe because it's also a college city. it's also quite expensive to live up there. north phoenix isn't shabby at all. just stay north of camelback road and you'll be fine.

Sounds good to me.Thanks for the info.I was on craigslist earlier just browsing, and man, what you guys pay for a 4 bedroom house is what we pay for a 1bedroom/studio apt out here...ridiculous.

Hell, look at the prices here in South Carolina! Moving down here from NJ, you can get a Mansion with 10 acres of land here for what you would pay for a 1 bedroom apt in NJ.

the main problem with Flag is that they tried to cram thw whole town between I-40 and the San Francisco Peaks. The area around Lake Mary (just south of Flag) is great and quiet.

No my young friend, those of us up north pity you people from Scottsdale. They have the money to buy in that area, but not the brains to run from the heat. I hate it when I have to load out of the valley, I'm a sweater  . If I would have known you habe been sitting there at the river that day the parking lot went into the Colorado.....I would have bought you a cup of coffee.

i love the heat. people need not pity me. the only time i need some pity is when it's the winter and i'm somewhere in the british canadian provinces, elsewhere in the north, or basically north of i-40. i love the feeling of having frozen snot on my face.

i remember you saying you'd left some time around 1700hrs or something like that. i rolled into there at about 2000. no offense, i'd have declined the coffee because that stuff would have kept me up allllllll night long while i was needing to sleep. the riverview buffet is what i hit up as soon as i shut down for the night.
:D

If we do manage to kick California into the ocean...can we first evacuate Jessica Alba, Adriana Lima, Anne Hathaway,
is Miley Cyrus old enough to lust after yet? ...no? oh well... too bad.

We'd have to save Hollywoood..... reluctantly, but if we don't... the next Batman movie will be a musical, filmed at Baliwood.
