Another reason for college reluctance.

As I've been navigating my way back into the seat of a rig after that accident, I've found one of the main reasons why regular school is so difficult for myself to put up with.
It seems the instructors are all pretty much allowed to follow a unique, lesson plan aside from what's suggested by the department heads.
What this means is that I've got to float from one class to another, just trying to find the right instructor that will assist me in getting down the material needed to pass the given assignments.
I'm one of those persons who learns real well from the textbook.
If the instructor teaches from it, then the class is relatively easy to manage and pass.
But, for the most part, it's been spending hundreds on required textbooks just to not have to use them in class.
Instead, it's the independently, uber-liberal instructor who thinks his/her way of instruction are revolutionary.
Couple that with flower-child generation, no.2, and it turns into, "That CDL was the best thing that ever happened to me."

I'll be glad once this nightmare is over and my efforts to get back into the seat finally pay off.
Until then, I'll just keep passing the classes with the right instructors, and knocking the latte cups into the laps of the peace-loving, art-students.
