Might as well start a war..
Being new, I have already found fondness to Peterbilt trucks. But it certainly has me curious as to what trucks you all think are the best to drive that most companies purchase. As the topic says, might as well start the war now.

If you get either the 389 or 379 enjoy being able to roll the passenger window down from the side while sitting down. NARROW is the word of that make. Also lack of storage if you are running team in a Pete except for the 387 which all it is BTW a T-2000 with full height sleeper not what KW calls a high rise.

379 pete love the ride !!

I miss my Volvo 770 (I'm in a 670 now). The 770 has more storage space than I can figure out what to fill it with. Also, it has a great ride and incredible turning radius.
As for rolling down the passenger window while sitting - that's what the power window switch is for  |
Make of the truck is one thing...However, the Model is everything.
I much prefer the styling of the "Large Cars" and do not like the Aero's. All the Makes of trucks have both types in their lines. Personnel I favor the Freightliner Classic XL, am on my 4th one with the company. Other than the outside appearance of the truck, the inside is quite large and more than enough storage space. Dont even try to reach the passenger door from the drivers seat, can barely reach the passenger seat itself. Power windows is the only way to work the passenger window. "Large Cars" rule.... :D |
we'll stay in a volvo 780 as long as we can. tons of storage everywhere and a nice ride for a team truck
