Thought this was quite funny... I don't have a problem with pilots, but this guys sure does. Check out the flatbed on his right... He's backed up and over the curb by 10ft in the grass!

Yeah...that lot is so tiny, it sucks getting in and out of there. Fills up by 5-6pm. That Flatbedder I'm sure parked like that to give someone room to squeeze in a slot across from him. If you've ever been there, you'll know exactly what I'm talking about. It takes a good driver to park there, and a good size shoehorn. :lol:

i'm so glad that the company i drive for has a terminal near tacoma. i've been in that flying j parking lot before, with an o/o friend of mine. that place is a dump.

as for pilot, yes, i loathe pilot just as much. i refuse to go to pilot or love's because of their shitty parking layout, and their extreme inaccessibility getting in & out of their shitty lots. i was waiting nearly 30 minutes to make a left turn out of the POS pilot in ogden, utah. there's also a gigantic mortar hole near the fuel island. it's in the pathway of the fuel pump next to the cat scale and/or going into the scale.

now would that be the Flying J in Fife, Wa. Located right at the bottom of the hill rolling north out of Tacoma? If so, yea, its a craphole with a tiny lot. My wife was a shift manager at the Pilot in Troy, Illinois at exit 18 on I-70 and there policy was 50 plus gallons for a shower and for a driver....she always gave em free cups of coffee.

It's possible that I hate PILOT even MORE than that guy.

No one can hate pilot truck stops as much as me, !! i cant stand a single thing about them, their hot dogs even suck.... and as for LOVES truck stops, .. dont even get me started.

oh what the hell,... loves are nasty, crap bags in the parking lots, greasy chicken inside, fake leather jackets, nasty restrooms. and the showers,... should i go on. ............. i feel sorry for loves employee's, always wearing them name badges with fake smiles on their faces. i feel bad for them, but not as bad as i feel for the drivers that are forced to fuel or park there.

that tacoma Flying J sucks too. i remember USX always had all their trucks stage up there by 07:00am to load NISSAN loads just down the road. they would make you sit there all day because they didnt have parking at the shipper, WTF!!!! like that Flying J has parking there for that crap. thanks to this guys video i have now found a use other than scarping bugs off my bumper for my old pilot card.

well, the ONLY pilot that is worth a damn is the one in great falls, montana. i was impressed with that one on my first time there. it was a week before christmas that i had a delivery to target. it was already late at night and had no choice but to go to the nearest truck stop. flying j was packed and there was pilot across the street. to my amazement, the lot was only a quarter filled while the lemmings kept going into the j's lot in hopes of finding something. i parked my truck within 10 seconds of entering the lot, packed my stuff for a shower, and proceeded inside.

inside of the place was clean, easy to get around in, and the clerks were pretty cool to chat with. the driver's lounge was beyond anything i'd ever seen before. man, it was spiffy! i got to watch the "best fights of 2007" ufc on spike. the lounge also had a very homely feel to it, which is a big time plus. with my laptop, i could also get a strong enough signal from across the street to use flying j's wi-fi service. sprint doesn't appear to have any coverage up there.

the showers themselves were amazingly clean, too. i even dared to test its cleanliness by going without my shower shoes. i didn't get a case of "itchy feet".
