Remember I am 98lbs. My son is about 30lbs. It's not as easy as you think to carry him around. Please don't take offense at this, you can't even go to the ATM and leave the kids in the car anymore in today's world. It only takes a second for them to disappear. The big hips thing was just a "humorous generalization." And, actually.... I don't "remember" you ever telling me you were so petite! Good thing you got that 30 lb "anchor" to hold onto! I'VE passed by one such as this many times, for reasons NOT so noble as child protection. I've had the same feelings afterwards, wondering IF they might really be in need. There are so MANY in need these days, we can't possibly help them ALL! But, I really can't understand why God didn't make me a millionaire! I really WOULD give most of it away. What would I do with a yacht?? I don't even like to fish!! |

I 100% agree with Rabbit, the Government needs to give these men and women all that they need to get their lives back, after them giving us their lives in service.

Yeah, Rabbit! I JUST saw a segment on CNN about a Korean War vet who used to be homeless and has come out of it. They mentioned all the OTHER Veterans who are homeless. I know how it happens..... but I just can't understand it!
And of course, the first thought that came to my mind was someone saying..... " I just can't feel sorry for the homeless." :shock: |
