Hi Folks, just a reminder about Daylight Savings time comes to an end this year on November 4.

Fall Back, Spring forward.

Jeez, if your going to tell people about it at least have the common sense to get it right! Nothing like showing up at the wrong time for an appt.

Yeah, no lie. :? I wished that Texas would act like Arizona, and not even have the time change. I hate that stupid time change. :P

This would be a good place to ask this (again.) I think we discussed it last year, but I'm still not completely clear on it.

How do you log the change?

If you drove 700 miles, you don't want to show it in 10 hours do you?

You can't drive 12 hours just because it looks like 11? Right?

So, do you show ending at 7 am and put in the comments that it was really 8 am so you're not speeding?

Or do you log it at 7 am, and explain the hours were actually eleven (so you're not speeding?)

Am I making sense?

This is only my second year of driving, and I think I must have been OFF DUTY last year at this time.

You don't adjust for the time change until you shut down. You donot gain an extra hour. 11/14 from the start of the trip like everyday. After you shut down, then you adjust for the change(take a 11 hour break since you just gained an hour :D ). The same thing in the spring, you donot lose the hour when they go ahead.

Drive the eleven hours.. regardless of the time, note the timechange on the log.

So what's the difference?
