Mine rings. Like a real phone ringing. I do all I can to use it, let along know how to change the ring.

Fields of Athenry (Bagpipe solo) is the default ring, but I have all kinds of fun stuff on there. One for an ex-girlfriend (Meredith Brooks - Bitch), one for a whiny buddy (Greenday - Basketcase) , one for..., well, you get the point.

I use the Jim Norton RRRRRIIIIIINNNNNGGGGGGGGGG!! and a couple others that prolly would offend most people here on CAD. :lol:

try playing it and while its playing select apply as ringtone. or if everything else fails, read the directions

I've been able to save ringtones. Once they are small enough about 5 - 15 seconds.

Once I receive the message, I save it as music. Then go into tools, ring styles the master volume detail From there I highlight calls.

The ringtone I uploaded is there to select.

Ring Tone Friday, by any chance? Actually, I don't remember the day, but I loved the bit. I just wish I could actually get ringtones onto my phone.

Yeah it was, I am still partial to Phone call Thursday and rok-srem-tursdy. But gave me an idea to make some other ringtones.

I have been using Cool Edit for sound clips and then send them to my phone. Been using it for a while (cough, cough, torrent, cough, cough) Can do some amazing things with that program.

I could never tell when my damn phone was ringing, so I finally switched to the most obnoxious ringing sound I could find. When it goes off, I want it to STFU immediately, because it's so incredibly obnoxious. It's effective.

Probably helps that my phone goes for days without ringing, because I don't really have anybody to talk to on the thing. My wife can't have her phone on at work, and we're working the same hours, so that only leaves people I don't really want to hear from anyway.

I talked to my wife the other night about what ring tones my phone has. She talks to me like I'm a moron when it comes to my phone. :P

She told me that I have "Good Bad, and the Ugly" ring tone. I was like, huh? She showed me how to change the ring tones, and she was right. It was from the movie. That Italian dude's orchestra. She said, "Silly, I got that ring tone from AT&T's website, because you like the movie." I was like, oh, cool! So now, I have The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly ring tone. When I hear it ring, it takes me a minute to remember that it's mine.
