Burnt windshield

I recently was placed in a different rig and the person that had my truck must have left the windshield wipers on overnight in dry conditions and completely rubberized my winshield. I can't find anything to get it off. It's really tought heading west on I20 in the afternoon with the sun bearing down. Any solutions for a miricle cleaner?

Once that happens you may as well replace the windshield.

A lot of what you're seeing is fine scratches in the glass from the friction of the dry wipers.

most of the time it can be removed with a nice fresh razor scraper. Cleaners really cant get it off, elbow grease can though! LOL

A nice sharp razor blade or three, a bottle of rubbing alcohol and some elbow grease will take care of it.

If it's really just rubber, try naphtha, aka Zippo Lighter Fuel.
