Squaaaash!! If you used that truck on a monster truck course, you'd squash not only the 4-wheelers but the buses, the ramp itself flat, and probably leave some big ruts in the grass :)

Okay it is not a fake picture. But, it must be a staged shot. There is no way that the 2 tractors could maneuver the trailers even on the easiest curves. Is the BIG truck even chained down?

That's my story and I am sticking to it!!

I honestly have no idea; It seems to fit so perfectly on the Dropdeck trailer, and even if the could move it, I don't know how they would negotiate obstacles.

If that's the case then what would be the point in putting it on a dropdeck?? Just drive the dammed thing from point A to Point B..

Medon'tknow!!

It is an interesting pic, though!!

Likely this occurred on a closed section of highway between two mining areas that some mine company operates. My thought is that since the passenger in the left side truck is turned in his seat he's keeping an eye on the load even though I'm inclined to believe this move occurred at a crawling pace. I'm sure those mine trucks aren't to frugal on fuel either or it could be busted down. I know that it's missing it's dump bed which would make it even larger and heavier.

I watched a show on Discovery channel on how those mine trucks were built. They ship them out on railroad flats in pieces to the customer. I think the show stated it takes Cat engineers about three weeks to reassemble the trucks on the mine site for the customer.

Still a cool pic.

I always thought they assemble those on-site? I seen how they make the parts, but didnt think they transported them like that.

I've seen "Mega Movers" as well. A VERY interesting program. I just happened to come accross it on TV; they did an episode where Martha Stewart, Rosanne Bar, and Rosie O'Donald, were all going down to the Flyin' Hook Buffet together for lunch.

Useless have you ever seen waht an off the road hauler does to the road?

The picture isn't staged ethier it is a real move. I can't remember the site but there is one for a heavy haul company that has a story about that move.
