Chain, Boomers and things

Can anyone tell me where the best place to buy chains, boomers and anything else I might need for hauling with a flat bed.

If you are a company driver then the company you are working for should be providing everything you need as far as load securement. If they do not then I would be looking elsewhere.

Ummmmm...You can find chains and Binders, as well as straps, at most Truck dealerships, some truckstops, and some Trailer dealerships..especially those that specialize in flatbed, stepdeck and heavyhaul.

Do you own yer own truck..and plan on getting a fb??

Tractor Supply Company (the farm store place) or you can find good deals online, but shipping is high unless you can go pick up.

Ah, boomer is what I always called them also. Don't worry about that part, just means you're probably a hilljack like me or you have some sort of a farming background. Most trucking companies refer to them as binders though. I know Maverick seemed to not like you calling them boomers and would always correct you by saying binders. I told them I didn't think I would change now after 30 years of calling them boomers. Of course, they also didn't like the words "deadhead" or "suicide" either...

Anyway, probably the cheapest place to find them would be Harbor Freight. Don't know if you have a store near you, but you can buy them online. They are not necessarily the highest quality equipment out there, but they would be just as good any you can get at TSC and definitely better than the ones sold in a truckstop.
