$52/Day Per Diem Question
 
I am using TurboTax to do my taxes as I always do and I am at $4075.00 return right now, I added my $52 per night allowance for a total of over $10,000 in per diem, added my expenses such as cell phone, satellite radio, gloves, road atlas and etc.

When I did this my refund did not go up one penny...WHY??? I do not get it, why do they give you a per diem allowance if they don't give you the 75% of it back or whatever...am I doing something wrong here?

Trust me, your having this problem now with that program maybe. Have a good pro that works with drivers and trucking company's do it for you, so you pay a little, don't cheat yourself! good luck!
