We are so doomed.

Do you guys even realize that you live in a truck?

Scientists get fat paychecks.
Scientists travel the world.
Scientists consult with world leaders.
Scientists have groupies.
Scientists sleep with their wives (if and when they want to).
Scientists know what their kids look like (without having to check a photograph).
Being a scientist is a coveted job, being a dweller (er excuse me, over the road trucker, is not).

I dig the down home folksy logic but I see no one has even mentioned carbon dioxide, let along offered to refute what scientists say it's doing to our atmosphere.

But Fox News builds you up and tells you that you know better than smart people with years and years of education and you believe them. Too funny!

Most everybody around here is having to water cattle. I've never seen so many ponds run dry. Those that can still put hay out, are feeding cattle, and it's not even winter yet.
The bad thing about having to sell cattle is that, if you stay in the business, you have to start all over again. Sure you can make money for selling them, but you have to get more. It's a terrible thing when you have to sell out in these conditions.

I am glad that you got a little shower. Perhaps you will get more before too long. I am sorry that you have had to sell off your cattle.

Doesn't everyone?

Scientists get fat paychecks.

Yes, but they don't look cool driving down their road in their big truck.

Scientists travel the world.

Hey, we travel the world. Is is just that we have a smaller universe. Besides, not all scientists travel the world. Some never get out of their lab.

Scientists consult with world leaders.

Yes, but who would want to associate with that bunch or corrupt politicians when you have a world of truckers as your best buds?

Scientists have groupies.

Some truckers have their groupies. They are called lot lizards.

Scientists sleep with their wives (if and when they want to).

Some people would not consider that as a plus. Some would.

Scientists know what their kids look like (without having to check a photograph).

Come on now, drivers do know what their kids look like.

Being a scientist is a coveted job, being a dweller (er excuse me, over the road trucker, is not).

You would have fooled me. People are standing in line to become truckers. I bet there aren't people standing in line to become scientists.

I dig the down home folksy logic but I see no one has even mentioned carbon dioxide, let along offered to refute what scientists say it's doing to our atmosphere.

We need carbon dioxide. We have trees to clean our atmosphere. Our air has gotten cleaner in the last 30 or so years. There is still no proof that there is man made global warming or cooling or climate change. The only thing that we really know is that the climate does change but there has never been any proof that man can or has changed or altered the atmosphere. Besides, there is nothing to refute since there is no proof.

But Fox News builds you up and tells you that you know better than smart people with years and years of education and you believe them. Too funny!
It is a funny thing about education. Some people lose their common sense when they get a lot of education. This whole global warming, ice age, climate change has created a huge industry. The entire industry was built upon a man made fabrication.

We haven't had to see any cattle. I'm sorry that I didn't make myself clear. I was talking about selling cattle, 'in general'. I've heard that there are some that are, or had to sell theirs. I was kinda describing our conditions to Windwalker.
Thank you.

I feel for those who are having to deal with this. Much of my family used to raise cattle. Drought can make things very difficult.

The droughts can change a person's life.
I hope we get some rain before Decemeber. Or before October, atleast. If we don't get any rain, we may not get any wheat sowed. Everything depends on the rain. Rain makes things go...as well as grow.

The problem of climate change is probably one of the world's major problems. The global climate is changing, among other things, due to the waste of human activity and the processing of these wastes. The planet is just choking on garbage. The population is growing, and each person averages 6.4 hectares of the so-called "ecological footprint". It is important to properly dispose of waste. Birmingham rubbish removal is the best among all in this industry. They arrive very quickly, they also quickly collect all the garbage and then it's all recycled and there is less load for nature.

The newest thing on the horizon isn't climate anymore.

Now it's the "single use plastics" like water bottles, plastic forks and spoons, etc.

For some years, they've been finding "nano plastic particles" all through the oceans.

Now, they've found nano plastic in rain water.

And I also read that the plastic in the ocean could affect the maritime food chain.

But, we're in a waterbottle culture now.
