Melton Truck Lines Announces the Promotion of
\nJeff Robinson to Vice President of Maintenance.<\/p>\n
Tulsa OK-Melton Truck Lines Inc. is pleased to announce the promotion of Jeff Robinson to Vice President of Maintenance.
\nJeff began his career with Melton in October 2001 and brought over twenty years of combined hands-on Maintenance and Maintenance Management experience. Since joining Melton Robinson has had a significant affect on the shop. Melton President Bob Peterson says ?Jeff consistently watches our resources while maintaining the fleet in excellent condition.? Since Jeff joined Melton the vehicle out-of-service ratio has dropped to 9.9 percent which is 13 percent below the national average. <\/p>\n
Robinson is responsible for managing the shop budget and fleet maintenance cost. He manages a staff of 35 in both Tulsa and Laredo while maintaining a customer and driver-friendly maintenance department that meets quality timeliness and productivity goals for both shops. He also oversees the new 22000 sq. ft. Professional Maintenance Facility in Tulsa.<\/p>\n
Prior to Melton Jeff was Maintenance Manager for the Tulsa Transit Authority for nine years and he also worked for United Engines Inc. for 15 years. Jeff holds a degree from OSU in Diesel and Heavy Equipment Repair. Jeff and his wife LaDonna and son currently reside in Broken Arrow Oklahoma.<\/p>\n
Melton Truck Lines Inc. is an air-ride flatbed carrier serving the United States Canada and Mexico. The Melton terminal locations include Tulsa OK; Laredo TX; and El Paso TX. Melton?s corporate offices are located in Tulsa OK.
