Looking for successful over the road (OTR) truck drivers with at least two (2) years verifiable tractor-trailer experience and six (6) months East Coast experience. Drivers must be willing to travel to the East Coast and be out for 5 days. The driver must execute the trucking assignments in the most efficient, safest and most professional way possible. The driver must represent PDS in a professional and positive manner.  PDS offers good job security, stability and competitive pay that are sought in today’s trucking profession.  We recognize that PDS success is the result of great teamwork between our drivers, customers and home office.

Principle Duties Include:

·         Safety first

·         Must plan routes and manage time to ensure deliveries in a timely manner

·         Driver must have flexibility to adapt to environmental conditions (Example weather from hot to cold)

·         Must be able to Load & Unload (Company will send out for strength test) 

·         Knowledge of DOT rules and regulations

·         Driving Skills For: City traffic, Rural Highways, Weather, Vehicle Operations etc.

·         Will be out for 5 days, East Coast, Away from home base.

·         Delivering refrigerated goods; mainly boxed meats to warehouses and grocery stores

Pay, Expenses and Safety Bonus

·         $200.00 Per full work Day

·         Up to $100 per week for food expenses; $25 per stop off after first one (first pick-up and drop-off is free.

·         Safety bonus of $500 after every six months if none of the following: moving violations, DOT violations, damage to vehicles or product, no accidents, or customer complaints due to inappropriate behavior or conduct. 

Job Requirements

·         Be at least 23 years of age

·         Must have 2 years verifiable tractor trailer experience

·         6 Months East Coast – NY, Pa, NJ etc.
