They say nothing in this world is certain except death taxes and in some parts of the country… traffic and lots of it. That’s not exactly how the saying goes but most truckers would probably agree.
Highway congestion is a real thorn in the side to every driver but to truckers and the trucking industry it’s more than just a nuisance. The trucking industry lost an estimated $9.2 billion due to highway congestion in 2013 alone so it’s easy to see why it was just named the 9th biggest concerns for the trucking industry in a study conducted by the ATRI.
For their latest report the ATRI took calculations from GPS travel data across 250 specific locations to rank the 100 worst congested highway locations for truckers.
