INTERSTATE DIST. CO. RAISES INDEPENDENT CARRIER RATES BY 3% FOR 4TH QUARTER 2014

By: Interstate Distributor Co.

September 16, 2014 (Tacoma, Wash.) – Interstate Distributor Co., a trucking company known for its commitment to safety, service and operational excellence, recently announced a 3% rate increase on gross revenue for independent carriers who sign on with the company before the end of the year.

Independent carriers retain their own authority when partnering with Interstate and can choose from two pay options: 83% of gross revenue paid in 10 days or 80% of gross revenue paid in 3 days.  Interstate also offers first in-first out dispatch, no orientation and no trailer fees; just the freedom to run when and where carriers want.  The 3% rate increase is only available from October 1 – December 31, 2014.

“The key to a successful business relationship is making smart decisions so both parties can benefit,” said Interstate Distributors’ CEO Marc Rogers. “Independent carriers who sign on with us can further improve their bottom line with our 4th quarter rate increase.  In return, Interstate is able to continue to meet the needs of our customers.  We want to give back when we can and demonstrate how valuable independent carriers are to our business operations.”

Interstate has experienced solid growth this year as it expands operations, divisions and customer service in support of its Fortune 500 customer base.  In order to keep up with demand, the company continues to focus on partnering with small to medium-sized carriers with their own authority.
