Melton Truck Lines, Inc. Raises Driver Pay

July 8, 2013 - Melton Truck Lines, a premier air-ride flatbed carrier based in Tulsa, OK, is pleased to announce an across the board pay increase. In addition to the cents per mile pay increase, Melton is currently developing a system that will increase tarp pay. Melton has also doubled their over-dimensional freight pay to 8 cents per mile. After researching a variety of different industry pay studies, independent annual reports, and surveys, Melton has determined that their total package including their – mileage pay, mileage increases for Melton Experience, up to 4 cents per mile fuel bonus, benefit coverage and low premiums—places them within the top 1% of North American for-hire trucking companies.
