Crete Carrier Receives Pro Patria Award

Lincoln NE – The Nebraska Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) awarded
the Pro Patria Award to Crete Carrier Corporation on Saturday April
20th at the Cornhusker Hotel in Lincoln Nebraska. The awards ceremony
was attended by Crete Carrier employees: Tim Aschoff Chief Operating
Officer; Jane Goertzen Director of Human Resources; Andrew Prokop
Asset Manager; and Evan Winey Asset Manager.

Pro Patria Award honorees are employers who show exceptional support
for our national defense by adopting personnel policies that make it
easier for employees to participate in the National Guard and Reserve.
Pro Patria award recipients are forwarded to the Assistant Secretary of
Defense for Reserve Affairs to pick the finalists to receive the
Secretary of Defense Freedom Award the highest civilian award that can
be presented to companies.

The ESGR which is a part of the Department of Defense presents the
Pro Patria Award annually by each ESGR State Committee to one small one
large and one public sector employer in their state or territory.
Recipients of the award have demonstrated the greatest support to
National Guard and Reserve employees through their leadership and
practices. This is the highest-level award that may be bestowed by a
state ESGR committee.
