Second Pay Raise
in 60 days for Barr-Nunn Owner Operators

Transportation is once again raising pay for members of its hazmat endorsed
Owner-Operator programs. This week the company announced that effective for
the April 15th pay period the minimum pay per Practical mile will
increase to between $0.96 per mile up to $1.93 per mile respectively. Members of Barr-Nunn’s Pure Pay program will
also be experiencing a pay boost as their pay rate jumps to $0.99 per loaded
mile plus fuel surcharge; empty mile rates will remain at $0.70 per mile plus
fuel surcharge.
The
upcoming compensation increase is actually not the first one Barr-Nunn has
instituted as of late. They have raised owner-operator pay as recently as March
4t0hof this year. Asked about the
continued escalations in pay President Rene Beacom stated that Barr-Nunn is
eager to share the company’s success with those who make it possible.
We know that our Independent Contractor and
company drivers are extraordinarily safe professional and capable and this is
what drives Barr-Nunn’s success. We want to do everything we can to make sure
they are successful at the same time and this latest compensation increase for
our hazmat endorsed Independent Contractors is simply one more important step
in an ongoing process he says.
Not
surprisingly Barr-Nunn Band Pay owner-operators also enjoy a $800 or $975
performance bonus every 30000 miles and all Owner-Operators receive a healthy
fuel discount.
