Company Comment: In 1946, Marion (Bud) Murray began a family-owned trucking operation in Davenport, Iowa. The company had only a few trucks, serving Midwest shippers that needed less-than-truckload or truckload coverage on a regional basis. By listening to their customers, Marion and Robert built Murray Enterprises into a diversified shipping corporation, offering customers total distribution service.
