Effective 10/3/2011 all new hires at K&B Transportation will start out at 38 cents per mile, after 90 days they become eligible for a raise to 40 cents per mile, and after two years get 41 cents per mile. On top of this, all drivers are GUARANTEED 2500 miles per week. Basically, if you don’t run 2500 miles per week, we pay you the difference, making us a leader in driver pay in the trucking industry. Where else do you get $950 guaranteed per week, and $1000 per week guaranteed after just 90 days? How do we do this? As a 100% refrigerated fleet we have the steady freight to keep you busy. In 2009 while many companies cut trucks or closed down completely, we actually added trucks onto our fleet, continuing our continuous growth that this company has enjoyed since we opened our doors in 1987. While people may not be building houses, or buying televisions, they still have to eat every day, giving us a solid freight base that keeps our drivers busy year round, even in the worst of times. Many companies will tell you that "You Should" run 2500 miles per week, but know the difference between "You Should" and "Guarantee". While other say "You Should" run the miles, we "Guarantee" you the miles by paying you for 2500 miles per week minimum, if you run them or not, giving you the comfort of a minimum weekly paycheck.
