Driver Qualifications

It is our goal to continue to add safe, business-minded Owner Operators and Drivers. Below you will find the requirements for you to join our winning team.

Driver Minimum Requirement Guidelines:

Must meet all Federal Motor Carrier guidelines

Driver experience:

• Cargo Van/Sprinter: Six (6) months verifiable driving experience
• Straight Truck: Six (6) months verifiable OTR driving experience in like vehicle or larger
• Tractor/Trailer: Two (2) years verifiable OTR driving experience

Must have a valid :

• Commercial Driver License with proper endorsements in state of residence -OR-
• Chauffer License (where applicable) in state of residence
• No current license suspension or revocation
• A work permit is not acceptable

No serious or disqualifying traffic violations within the last three years as follows:

• Excessive speeding, involving any single offense for any speed of 15 mph or more above posted speed limit
• Reckless driving as defined by the state or local law or regulation, including but not limited to:
• Driving a motor vehicle in willful or wanton disregard for the safety of persons or property
• Driving while intoxicated or under the influence of drugs
• Hit and run
• Leaving the scene of an accident
• Failure to report an accident

No more than:

• Four (4) moving violations in the past 36 months
• No more than two (2) moving violations in the previous 12 months

No preventable DOT accident within the last three (3) years which includes:

• A fatality
• Bodily injuries treated away from the scene
• Disabling damage to a motor vehicle
• Disabling damage means damage that precludes departure of any motor vehicle from the scene of an accident in its usual manner in daylight after simple repairs. This includes damaged vehicles that are drivable, but would incur further damage, if so driven.
• Must be 23 years old
• Must pass a DOT physical
• Clean MVR and clean PSP
