| I have a Fl Class A Cdl and may move to Ohio what steps will i need to take to transfer my CDL to Ohio?? Thanks |

go the local dmv within 30 days after you move, if you have hazmat, you will have to take a test, otherwise, just pay the fee, pass an eye test and you are all set. |

| Not sure if you have 30 days, some states it's only 10 days. Better check it out or you'll end up paying more. |

| You may want to check to see if you will need to do another background check for the hazmat. I read somewhere that some states may require those transferring their license to their state to have another background check. :roll: |

My state requires that within 30 days of moving here the CDL is surrendered to the secretary of state office. The written and road tests must be retaken. I saw big signs saying that when I went to get my CDL. So things must have changed this year. |
