Hey all,

Will be going to work for them in a couple of weeks, mostly run Wi to Tx from what I was told. The couple of drivers I talked to seemed pretty happy. Anybody have anything to add ?

I knew 4 o/p's who worked there. They all liked it but wanted to be home every weekend. They said that to make the best money they needed to stay out 2 weeks and none were not willing to do that

Thanks for the reply, the job I have now I run to Chicago every day, and cannot wait to get back on the road. I thought a home every night job would be great, but, 14 to 18 hour days in traffic and construction is about to make me loose my mind, let alone a good day is only about 470 miles. Way to much time sitting at docks every day and having to give the first two hours at each place makes for too mant hours and not enough miles.

I hear ya #5.

When I ran dedicated, I occassionally subbed for other dedicated accounts. One of those accounts was doing a 4-stop (drop/hook) loop (2-loops per day; M-F) originating from Milwaukee, WI to Oshkosh-Neehah-Greenbay and then back to Milwaukee. If everything worked perfectly, I had about 15-min to spare in a 14-hour day (doing everything by the book).

Granted it wasn't Chicago (and all the construction), but 14-hour days can take the snot out of you. Sometimes being home every night isnt' worth it -- I remember at times being wasted (very tired) by Friday evening!
