| Need help i am a 9 year class A driver w/ hazmat and looking for a over the road company i can go on. i have a wife and 2 kids. my wife is fine about this and knows what happends. i know i will be out for 14days but, need need something to happend. can somebody help me out thank you. :D |

What is the rest of the story? Have you been running local for 9 years? Did you get a CDL 9 years ago and never used it in a driving job? Have you tried to get hired on somewhere and been turned down?
Finding an OTR job isn't hard, check the papers, make some phone calls. If you haven't used your CDL in awhile, you'll probably have to go back through training or at least a refresher course. If you've done nothing but local work a lot of the big companies will want you to go back through training but a lot of smaller outfits will hire you no problems. |

| I just got laid off from alocal welding supply company here in florida back in march 10th 2008 i was a tractor-trailer driver for them i still have my Class A lic Hazmat but, i have a record that is 15 years old i am finding it hard for me to get a job can anybody help me. i have no OTR exp only local flatbed 47 foot trailer. |
