Ok, decided to tell this story with pictures so bare with me.
I'm here loading at Ken's Foods- McDonough, Ga
So-- they are detaining me now-- an hour past their allowed 2hrs... so, being the great company man I am- I finally shut off the engine and decide to go for a walk-- walking is good exercise...so I look around-- and here's what I see:
I decide this little knowl is perfect for walking along-- pacing back and forth- while thinking about going to work for Heartland....
and suddenly a little down the other side, I spot THIS!
Now, for those who can't tell what this is-- it's a tray out of a Freightliner Century or Columbia-- that fits in the bottom of the cabinets so you can slide a cooler or something easily in or out. Better picture of one follows.
Well, since I may soon be turning this truck in- and I can't remember if the one this unit came with is still somewhere here in my truck or back home somewhere buried in the shed with 15 years of collected trucker junk, I decide I better grab it just in case-- bet these sell for $80-100 at Freightliner.
Then I notice the toliet paper--- so fortunately I used my foot to turn it over! Now, I'll spare you THAT picture.
But, you guessed it! one of our finest-- took a crap on it-- and threw it over this hill.
I went back to my truck ...without it...and proceeded to look for MINE..
Now, this is why Mega Carriers don't give us company drivers-- NICE EQUIPMENT
because scum bag truck drivers-- crap on & throw out-- pieces of the equipment! |
