| Just looking for some info on SRT like miles, pay, home time etc.... just what ever you have to offer. They are checking my MVR so just trying to get what info I can before I talk to them on Monday and then ask some questions and see what matches up. |

| What happened with SNI? Thought maybe I was going to run into you down there. I finished up STA on Friday and got to come home for the weekend. Head out with my TE tomorrow morning. Let me know if you have any questions about Schneider. |

I drove for them about a year ago, I went through their training program.
The training program is / was a two phase program. During the first phase you need to go through at least one metropolitan area, west coast mountains, and at least 3 corners of the continent. Sorry don't remember the hours that were required in each phase.
I never had a problem getting home with them. I lived in Manvel (near Houston) and in Dallas. They gave me the miles that I felt comfortable with.
Sooner or later you will hear that SRT is a Covenant company and you should avoid them. But, while I was there Covenant never caused me any pains and from the other SRT drivers they had never been bothered with Covenant things.
They run 48 states plus Canada. They have only 1 terminal, but a number of drop yards (some of those are Covenants -- most are not).
The majority of the reasons that I left SRT were stupid ones. Especially in light of having also worked at Werner --- Werner problems were much more severe than SRT ever was. |
