| dear dr. it seems to me that several times you replied to a topic then it was closed. maybe it is just me, but i thought you have been banned from this site more than once. is it possible to give honest advice without blasting someone else giving advice? maybe not for rabble rousing schoundrels. yea you!i have read enuff of your posts to know you are well educated and are able to post whatever reply with any slant you want. so when you say yes do you mean no? or know? or yes? |

Well there you go...you just went and put yourself on the short list to be banned later on. You will soon be banished just like myself and many others where.......I'll just leave it at that. |

| probably git banned after last post. but i ride an old harley and will always ride it. i do help any new driver that i think might need help. sometimes i see they need help before they do and i do my best to help them, because they are thee same as me, a new freakin' truck driver, opinionated,self reliant,patriotic,folks trying to make a living folks. so there. |

Yes, I've seen several topics that I've posted in that have been locked. I think if you looked back, however, you'd notice that the reason they got locked was because of people taking attacks to a very personal level. I'm sure the mods here can back this up.

If someone is giving incorrect advice, then I will always call them out on it. Some people can't handle that, and there is not much I can do about that.

I say what I mean. If I am being sarcastic, then I try to convey that as best I can in a text based medium (usually with the proper smiley).

No, Rev has never been banned. He has perfected the art of standing on the line, but does not cross it like others have in the past. Even Big Diesel got the ol' heave ho a while back and ever since he's been back, he's also figured out how to stand on the line, but not take it too far. It is my hope that anyone that gets banned will figure that out when they come back. The only time we do IP bans is for blatant spamming and porn crap. Other than those twits, we welcome anyone to come back with a new start. |

Even if you don't like him he is good for the message board. It gets old talking about the same thing over and over and a good heated argument is good from time to time.
You have to be careful with Rev also. Rev is a Fisher. He will throw his bait out knowing someone will jump on it. When you jump on his bait you have already lost so the only thing to do is cross the line and get banned (but maybe you made a statement in your blaze of glory?).
BTW. Howard still sucks and O&A are still biggest thing on FM! (Bait) :lol: |

Yeah, the REV is a fisherman. But, he's no more a REV than he is a DR!
He's baited ME more than once, but somehow I USUALLY (not always) managed to slip the hook! Well.... at least I never got banned! :lol:
The Rev is not ALWAYS right, but he DOES know his stuff! I, for one, appreciate that in a driver/man/person.
I have NEVER known HIS response/reply to be the CAUSE of a thread being locked. He just has more time on his hands..... and a fast puter..... and usually gets the last word in BEFORE it gets locked! :wink:

This message board is alot like trucking! You have to deal with a lot of shitters and deceivers..... I mean SHIPPERS and RECEIVERS! :lol:
How we deal with them is more a measure of OUR "stuff" than theirs!
A guy recently called me a RETARD (no.... not here on the board,) on the CB for running my fog lights! I told him it makes it easier for me to see the deer on the side of the road! He said, heck.... he'd killed LOTS of deer! I told him, thanks to running my foglights (roadlamps)..... I had NEVER hit a deer! :shock: :lol:
Don't let another driver DRIVE your truck..... or do your thinking for you! Say what you mean, and mean what you say.... and let the chips fall where they may!
NO one HERE (on the board) or out there on the road has a PATENT on the thinking process! Truckers just like to THINK they do! :lol:
The Rev has as much right as you or I do to be an AZZ!! Doesn't mean we aren't loved by our Mother's! :wink:
I don't know if you get my drift.... but, if you get a day off to get that chopper into the wind, perhaps you will!

Usually what happens is I respond, then the thread derails when many of the posters shift their attention to me, in an attempt to personally attack me. Why they do that is beyond me. After all, it's only the internet. It's not like it really even matters.
