Ok, I know this isn't the right forum but everyone stops here first :D
Anyone ever thought of this for the back of an O/D load ?
http://www.security-cameras-cctv.com/clover-4channel-24ghz-wireless-security-system-with-night-vision-camera-black-white-p-739.html
Reason I started thinking on this was had a load on, a Jetway, that was listed as 12.9 but they had tarped the front and it billowed out to about 15.6. Didn't need a rear escort to warn of passing so things, truck etc. would appear about 5 foot back from the front of the trailer  Probably wouldn't be able to tell what it was but would be able to see something was coming.
Anyone tried it or reserched it ? |

| We have two trucks outfited with camera systems. They are not much help. The screens are too small, you can tell something is there but not what it is. Ours are mounted on a pole attached to the drivers mirrors so when you go to turn the camera isn't on the load anymore. We are now testing those mobil home mover mirrors. The power adjustable ones. The picture you are seeing is more accurate as to what is there. They are more expensive than the cameras but we think they will work better. |
