| Back when I was driving a flatbed over the road.I was dispatched to pick up a load at a Metal Mart in San Antonio Tx. Arrived at the shipper,gave them my pick up number.Was handed a box about 2ft.square and 2ft. tall.That was the load going to Phoenix Az.Box fit in my passenger seat.Called FM and was told Metal Mart was paying for us to haul their load so I headed to Phoenix.Arrived at consignee,gave them the box.They opened it and it was two bags of screws to screw down sheet metal.Ash them why they didn't use UPS and they said they could depend on us to get it there on time. |
