The other day I read an unlikely story about a van driver with a sealed load that was pulled over by a DOT. One thing lead to another and the driver was told to break the seal. Inside was supposedly a truckload of... Guillotines!

It got me to thinking, you ladies and gents have probably hauled some strange stuff, care to share?

Ping Pong Balls !!!

They had to blow them in via the reefer vent door... A DOT guy made me open the trailer for an inspection, I tried to explain to him the load but he opened the door anyways..... Should have seen the look on his face after a bajillion ping pong balls spilled out.....

Oh ya!!!!

Well I hauled ONE Super Duper Ultra Secret Ping Pong Ball from Nova Scotia to Panama City. The load paid me $5,102,932,100,018.23 PLUS they paid for the fuel, showers, motels, lot lizards and all the Pepsi I could drink.

Was that the rate before or after the fuel surcharge?

I have been hauling cars for Copart for 11 weeks . Most cars are wrecked , repo,s or just junk. Tuesday I picked up a car in Franklin KY . The car was perfect, not a scratch ( 2004 VW Passat) . I asked the owner of the Tow company what was wrong with it, would it run and so-on. He said A man shot his exwife three times in the head then shot himself.
The car had been stored for two months in a building . It had never been cleaned up . There was blood everywhere but moreso there was brain and body tissue EVERYWHERE. I mean all over the front seats, windshield , side window . I had to get in it and drive it out of the building. Whew! I tell you what I have a very strong stomach but this was about as nasty as I have ever seen .

How awful. I wonder if the new owner has any idea what that car has been through.

I doubt they will disclose that info but who knows, it may be required . I did tell the yard workers at Copart so they would not just jump right in it. They usually vac the cars out and they might have thought it was just another dirty car. They were very appreciative of the info .

That's thirty minutes away. I'll be there in ten.

The Wolf: You must be Jules, which would make you Vincent. Let's get down to brass tacks, gentlemen. If I was informed correctly, the clock is ticking, is that right, Jimmie?
Jimmie: Uh, one hundred percent.
The Wolf: Your wife... Bonnie comes home at 9:30 in the AM, is that right?
Jimmie: Uh-huh.
The Wolf: I was led to believe that if she comes home and finds us here, she'd wouldn't appreciate it none too much?
Jimmie: [laughing] She wouldn't at that.
The Wolf: That gives us exactly... forty minutes to get the f*** out of Dodge. Which, if you do what I say when I say it, should be plenty. Now, you've got a corpse in a car, minus a head, in a garage. Take me to it.
