Howdy folks.
I'm Josh from Southern Illinois, and looking to get into the industry. There's literally no jobs in my area that aren't backbreaking factory work or McDonalds.
I've been doing some research but still seem to be stuck. I need to find a training company that doesn't suck too bad and doesn't keep you out for 6-8 weeks with a trainer making nothing like Swift.
I know Schneider has a pretty decent rep, but I don't want to put all my eggs in one basket.
Also, how does the application thing on this site work? I don't wanna get forty million calls from all the JBs and Swifts, but maybe theres a diamond in the rough stuck in there that i don't wanna miss out on.
Suggestions? |

Carbondale? Marion? Cairo? Some of the happiest years of my life were in SoIl. (I was easily amused then.)
For my money, CRST had good training and was a decent company to work for, among the OTR companies. I just don't like to share my box, so I drive with a solo company now. |
