| Discovery Channel did a way better job of the story a few years ago. History channel is a Johnny-come-lately to the topic. As far as the subzero temps, ask anybody driving in the northern tier of the US, let alone southern Canada. They usually don't drive on frozen lakes or rivers though, that takes HUGE ones. BOL |

That ain't nothing...I just saw this sweet new show about a guy who drives a cabover Kenworth red and white with matching trailer and his sidekick is a chimpanzee... |

I wasn't trying to be facetious or flip about my post, there is a new season of Ice Road Truckers airing this summer. I just felt it was a lot
to put on the line with what they were doing, blood diamonds and all.
I think I would rather be a roadie for Kiss than kill myself for DeBeers... |
