Why in the world would you do that if it's not on your mvr?? Talk about shooting yourself in the foot...They dont have no secret special mvr that they get that is any different from the one you got. It all shows the same...Ya know, honesty can screw ya sometimes...JMHO... |

Did you have a license in that state? If you did you will have to say so, and possibly that MVR will show it.
Keep in mind that companies don't solely rely on the MVR for ticket information.
How much over were those speeding tickets? |

| I have never had any license in that state and it was actually the only time I had been to that state...it was 21 mph over though :( even though this isn't a good excuse it was loooooooooooooong, boring, flat and straight... |

| A speeding ticket that is 20+mph over the posted speed limit will prevent you from getting a job with many carriers. They are not going to care about the reason. There really isn't a good excuse for going 20+ mph over the speed limit. If it doesn't show on your mvr, you may be safe. However, if it pops up you will have a problem as long as it is on the mvr. When you have a CDL your driving record follows you whether the offense was in a 4 wheeler or 18 wheeler. They may not be as diligent when it comes to a standard drivers license. |

| It may or may not show up once you get your CDL. My guess is that if it hasn't shown up in 2 years it isn't likely to do so. If you currently had a CDL it would probably have already shown up. By the time you go through school and get your CDL enough time may have elapsed where it no longer makes a difference. Most insurance companies and carriers go back 3 years on the MVR. |
