| my 13 speed has it on the drivers side, half way down the tranny. It's a pretty big plug. |

The newer Eaton Fuller transmissions (approximately 2000 on up) have a 1/2 in. square drive recessed head on the filler plug, that may be why you're having trouble finding it if you're looking for a "traditional" square headed plug.
As was said before, it is on the driver's side about halfway up the side of the trans.
Once you find it, clean the area around the plug so no dirt enters the trans.
Clean the dirt out of the square drive hole with a small screwdriver and insert a 1/2 inch drive breaker bar into the plug to remove.
Make sure the breaker bar is inserted fully before you attempt to loosen, if it's not all the way in and it slips out, the square drive in the plug will be rounded out and you'll be screwed!
These plugs are usually pretty tight, as they have an "O" ring type seal on them, you may need a pipe on the end of the breaker bar. |
