I've just finished the two month program at North Metro Tech School in Acworth, GA and would highly recommend it to anyone interested in acquiring their Class A. Top notch instruction with a good instructor to student ratio.
When I first contacted them I was surprised to learn that at my advanced age I still qualified for a Hope Grant which covered almost all of the cost of the program. I didn't need to have a certain grade point average in my previous schooling - they didn't even check on that. The ability to fog a mirror was the most important qualification I possessed :-)
I sailed through the state's testing after the North Metro was finished with me. |
