| I got a dwi last year and it's still pending. My suspension is up in August, and the case is going to be dismissed in December. Does anyone know if the arrest will keep carriers from being able to insure me. Please no lectures,I already know what an irresponsible idiot I am. |

| It will most likely still show up as a charged offense on your MVR, unless you get with a lawyer to have it removed, which will likely be fairly costly. And as long as it shows up, it's going to be a major issue with carriers. |

An arrest is virtually the same as a conviction as far a employment and insurance is concerned. You will have to pay the lawyer to have the arrest expunged from your record.
Even after doing that your license suspension will still be on record and will show up on a check of your drivers license, which will also preclude you from employment at a large number of companies. I don't know if this information can be removed, talk to your lawyer about that.
It's a bad situation all around. |

| My boss wants me to come back when I get my license and I plan on doing it as long as his insurance will cover me. So I guess i'll just keep my fingers crossed and hope for the best. |
