| Be careful man, with the way the economy is going at this time and vehicles not selling as much because of fuel prices you might find yourself falling short on loads. |

They're hiring becuase they need help. This job is not cut out for everyone. Dont get me wrong the economy is slow, but people are still buying cars. Even if they didn't we still have cars to move. Dealers are always buying cars from auctions and other dealerships, so u will have work, may not be much but u will be moving.. Plus this time of the year there are alot of car shows going on in Major cities.
United road is a good outfit, just be prepared to work hard with car hauling. its not an easy job, but can be very satisfying once you understand the load set up. I dont work there but i know several driver who work for them and they love every moment of it..
Pay is good and Equipment is decent, plus they get you home when u want. |

| How does United pay? Is it percentage, miles, or both? All the United guys I used to run into seemed to like the company. Most reccomended them if I wanted to switch. I'm trying to get on with Selland right now. |

URS, runs all 48 and canada. they have lots of daycabs and some sleeper trucks. I beleive if you live in the midwest you will get a sleeper truck, if not then you get a daycab and a hotel card.
Living in Detriot you should be ok, they are right out of romolus and they have plenty of loads going in to the NE and back to MI, so you should be able to get home on the regular. I see alot of URS on the east coast as thats where i mainly run, plus i run back to MI with alot of them so you shold be ok.
Give the recruiter a call, he is a str8 shooter...... |
