Basically they are a sister company of JJ Williams and System Transport.
When I was going to the yard there were both TWT and System Transport trucks there.
What is the starting pay at TWT for some one with experience? Although my husband is not getting many miles because he runs close to home he is grossing about a thousand a week with System Transport.
They pay him tarp and also for pick ups and drops. With a year experience he started at .38 a mile.
If you want to know more pm us and my husband will be glad to answer any questions you may have if he knows the answer to them. I am sure he sees a lot of TWT drivers in the driver's lounge.

Hey Mikey,
My wife showed me your post, so I thought I'd try and give you some info. I drive for Systems which is a sister company to TWT. I drive in the heavy haul division. I don't a lot about TWT but tell you what I know and hope it helps you.
TWT is the dry van/reefer division. They run all 48 states and from the few drivers that I talk to they get decent miles. They start their drivers out at .32-.33 cpm. They are a big company with about 1100 trucks over all and from the drivers I've talked to they seem pretty happy. But with all big companies there no so much of personal attention as you would get with a smaller company. There benefits are average, not the best, not the worst. They do run on appointment times a lot in regards to loading and unloading and those appointments can be at odd times sometimes. (i.e. late night, early mornings) I run into that some in the division I drive for, but not as much as TWT. They do keep their trucks and trailers in good working order and they've always been prompt with me in doing repairs on my truck. That's all I can think of for right now. If you have any other questions send a PM and I'll get back to you. |
