I was considering them a while back until I chatted with a couple of their drivers. Not a bad company by any stretch, but there seemed to be a considerable amount of sit time between loads. Hard to tell from only a couple of drivers.

I opted not to go with them and went with Fremont Contract Carriers out of Fremont NE. Not sure what you are wanting to do and where, but the Midwest regional with FCC is pretty busy. I have averaged almost 3100 miles a week since the 1st of the year, and I dropped over 3800 this last week. I am by the house a couple of times a week and off on the weekends (more than just a 34 restart). And they were pretty good about getting me home last weekend on Thur eve for my step son's wedding on Sat. They have a 48 state setup also if that is your preference. They still try to get those guys in almost weekly.

Equipment is pretty good. Very well maintained and most of the tractors have 3000w inverters and 110 outlets already installed. There are about 300 tractor in vans (company and O/O) and 100 tractors in flats. Brand new facilities in Fremont with exceptional ammenaties for the drivers. Very friendly and they learn your first name within the first two weeks. No only knowing you by a truck number here. Really great customer base with about 50-60% drop and hook. They don't want you in the trailer, so the real rare instances that you need a lumper, they are quick to cut a check.... no fuss.

Pay is not real stellar, but they sure make up for it in keeping good freight loaded on your wagon, keeping you moving, and treating you like a real person. For the O/O side of things, they have a variable rate based on length of haul and are presently paying a fuel surcharge in the mid .50 range. They also pass on any kick backs they get from Flying J, Loves, and Pilot.

The site www.fcc-inc.com is not flashy and full of eye candy. No need. They have a low turnover. But Tim in recruiting is a first rate guy that will tolerate any and all questions. He sure put up with my questions over a 3 month period before I took the plunge. Glad I did.

They run west to east ...LTL ..decent miles...
fast trucks at last check..70...(may be slower now due to
high priced go juice)

Maybe a small cozy outfit ?

scary.. when you combine the letters: LTL + OTR + refridgerated + CPM

sounds like many stops at grocery warehouses; you drive a few miles to the next stop...set more...drive a little farther..set more...and end the week with a little paycheck....but I could be completely wrong...
roll the dice.
