Any one use Mystik oil here?

I have a 2003 KW T-600 / cummins 475 hp. i recently bought and i have no idea when the oil was done last or what was used .

The company that owned it kept its appearance immaculate you would never dream it had 807,000 miles on it.Ive always used Delo 15-40 oil but I'm interested in the Mystik JT-8 synthetic blend.

Any opinions welcome.

I got a CAT C-15 with 824000 on it and use Shell Rotella. I have used delvac, delo, and rotella. Had a 85 FTRL prior to my 03 KW, and found that rotella is better for me anyway on older engines, and a proven fact it is better on cold starts.

They make good grease. Sadly, my dealer priced it out of site.

We usethe Mystik in the boxes, but run Delvac in the engines. Its a price thing, Wal-Mart sells the Delvac for 9.99/Gal.

Never had any complaints about mystik oil though.

Wow, that's remarkable. I'll have to check in to that. For that price, I will run it in all of my trucks.

I didn't build it, an A&I friend of mine did. I may in the future build an RV-10, but not any time soon!

Yes the RV-6 is probably the most fun an the least forgiving airplane I've ever flown - it is really a dream to fly! And at 6 gph and 180 mph, it is one economical hot rod!

I've never seen a Sakota, I'll have to look it up!

Damn thats good, mine was 130 mph at 8 gph mid wing arobatics, if i could down load a pic here i would show it to you . It was supposed to be a 400hr build but took me about 1200 hrs, they since uped it to a 600 hr build.

I was so impressed with this airplane's performance, I had to buy it. The 6 gph was a bonus. Its an IO-360 spinning a constant speed 80 inch prop. This little airplane will pull off a loop from level flight at about 50% power. In a bank, the darn thing actually noses up and gains altitude!
