| Was wondering about their nation wide fleet but my situation is that I need to stay regional (PWN) so no questions presently on them. Thanks anyhow. |

| I talked to them a few years ago and back then they had a PNW regional which pulled 40' 20' doubles. I still see those sets running out here so they may still have it. |

| I have no desire to pull doubles/triples. That is what makes driving for a Oregon based company so difficult. Everyone wants D/T and Hazmat. Right now looking at intermodel freight since Portland has so much of it in the area. |

I work for them. they do have western 11, pnw, if you just want to run i-5 you can do that. you don't have to pull doubles. been with them a year haven't touched a double. You don't "have" to have hazmat, or doubles on your lic.
Been pretty happy with them, and if you and your dispatcher don't get along, you can ask to be put on another dispatcher's board. I may be using this very soon. they changer dispatcher's on me, and we are not clicking. Trying to give her a chance, but don't think it's going to work out.
they run me hard when i want to run hard, and ease up when i need little break. |

How much do they pay for detention? What about layover pay? |

| Local driving, I am finding out, means lumping loads. I can't lift 50 pounds on a continous basis. I don't want to lump any loads or even try moving freight around with a pallet jack. Pallet jacks are still a problem at times. D/H freight is my best bet. |

No detention, or layover. Mostly because your in and out, drop/hook for the most part. If i tell dispatch I'll be there 2 or 3 days sooner at say 18:00, they will get me a drop, or change my appt time ( better be able to make the time you sent, 99% of the time it's the new appt time ) Last time I said I'd be there at 18:00 it was a guesstament, but made it by 15min. |

We drove for them and they were pretty good - nice people and all, good benefits. Pay-wise we never had problems we did have too many periods where we didn't get too many miles unfortunately.
Solodad: BOL to you. If you do decide to go with IDC, do not get on the dedicated for Office Depot as that means a lot of lifting etc. |

| hey glass man glad to hear your out there. im still at walsh, my friend that quit been at interstate 3 years and in truck 30 days at a time. i make more than him and i go home every day and have 1 or 2 days off a week. we get paid loading , unloading and waiting. no overtime and new guys on nite shift a long time.we got a team from interstate on nite and they like being home |
