Thanks for the honest scoop on LS.
I don't usually believe anything that comes out of a BCOs mouth.

Running the places that you run, the numbers are believable.
If you told me, that you made the same running the south, and south east, then I would be suspicious.

Shorter loads in the right areas nowdays are more profitable then ever before, with the fuel being the way it is.

You seem to know the areas to run, and the areas to avoid.
For an ex bed bugger, you seem to be pretty smart.

If I lived in OH, or IL or any of those areas, that is what I would be doing.
Of course I would be doing it with my authority, but you seem to be doing it at LS just fine.

I'm mostly running the NE, and mostly NYC and Long Island.
The last few times the rates seemed to be rising out of there, but not by much.
I usually end up putting some partials together, to get out of there with a halfway decent rate.

Good luck at LS.

If you make it there for 1 year, I would be intrested to see the numbers for the whole year.

Total revenue divided by total miles.
It is the only way I do numbers.

One good month, or one bad month, dont mean nothing.

As would I. The rates down there suck.

I hate running long loads. Always have.

I'll try to fit the stereotype better next time.

The rates I've seen in the NE have been decent. If I wanted to play up there, I'd do nothing but run 500 mile or less runs. I could do pretty well doing just that. If a guy lived up in that area, he'd be a fool if he didn't do that.

Same with me. I've never been afraid of posting my numbers when asked.

I only post the bad loads that I do.
It gives people something to talk about.

Hell, I'm running for $1.10 a mile from Vegas to San Jose tomorrow with a partial.

Coming in was 4.80/mi, and the load I'm going to is 3.88/mi.

But, hey, its only a partial :)
