I'll take that under advisement and will let you know if it has irreversably traumatized me.

In the meantime, the thread is about G-man and currently discussing his leg injury. Here's hoping it heals up quickly, G-man. That one didn't sound good at all.

Have you thought about putting in a claim under your Occupational Disability Policy? Not sure if you have one. Hope your leg heals up quick.

Unfortunately, I let my Occupational Disability Policy lapse when I stopped driving all the time. Whatever needs to be done will need to be paid for by yours truly. I suppose it is true what they say about hindsight being 20/20.

I'm sure you could keep several trucks busy given your connections and years of experience. In fact, you could probably be a great service to A LOT of o/o's just getting them some decent paying freight.

Best of luck and hopefully the doc will give you a good report Thursday!

I appreciate it. I haven't pursued the dispatching much. Depending on what the doctor says, it would certainly be an option. I really hate to see all this freight going to waste. It usually takes time to find the better paying loads. It is difficult to drive and do justice to those whom I dispatch. That is the main reason that I haven't pursued the dispatching. Initially, I thought I had at least one good driver. Unfortunately, he didn't work out. It is difficult to let a couple of trucks sit without some income on them. Of course, if I had enough trucks to dispatch I would not worry about them.

Thanks for your concern. I will let you know what the doctor say Thursday.

Thanks, Twilight. No, that doesn't sound good at all. Hopefully, it will be good news tomorrow.

Sorry, baileydale. I never received your email. If you meant that you sent me a pm, I believe you need to have 50 posts to send a pm.

I thought that I would give everyone an update. I went to have my test today on my leg. Thankfully, there was no blood clot. There is a very large hematoma on my leg. The doctor seemed quite shocked that there wasn't anything more serious that showed up. He thought it would go away in a few weeks. He also said that he didn't see any problem with me going back to work. He did say that I might want to get one of those elastic stockings for my leg if I planned to stand on it a lot. This is an answer to a lot of prayers. I appreciate everyone's concerns. It still looks bad, but I can deal with that. I may still have a bump on my leg where I got hurt, but the majority of the swelling and blood should go away with time. The blood should be absorbed back into the body. The body is an amazing thing.

Definitely good to hear. Glad it wasn't as serious as it could have been.

Go with the fish net and line up the back, much more support. You could also go with the full blown version and loose a few inches on the mid section too.

Maybe BC could chime in, he's trying to bring sexy back to trucking.

Hi, G-Man!!

Sorry, I'm a little late to school !! I'm sorry to learn of your leg injury, but very happy to learn that it's nothing too serious.

Regarding the TTED stockings; wearing them would be excellent advice, as they do improve vascular function and circulation.

I am personally very grateful that that subject was brought up. It will give me the PERFECT excuse next time my wife barges into the bedroom and catches me trying on her pan.........

   OOOppppss!!!! .......... Never Mind!!

:D
