There's also something to be said for doing a load for that low rate if you are working with just a few LS brokers as Rev stated he is...you're doing a favor to start a good relationship with them..maybe you got them out of a bind by doing that. Hopefully that pays off downstream. |

You wouldn't know how to use it if you had one. If you did, you would know how bad you got screwed on that Canada run.
I bet that broker was laughing at you. All the way to the bank. |

I did answer in the beginning but then Rev came in crying like a baby. He on the other hand offered no advise as usual. |

Your answer:
SteveBooth wrote: Heavy is right, don't listen to those other drivers. If your just looking at the loads that advertise what they are paying then it really doesn't represent a true picture.
Don't listen to Landstar drivers also. Not many get that much. Take for example Rev.Vassago. He has hauled loads for Landstar at $.65 cents per mile.
Wow. So helpful. |

Guess I ought to get my dog in this fight(?)
Steve how do you know what most LS drivers are making, most, not one or two and remember they don't haul off the broker board. |

Booth has never even seen the LS load board, nor does he have any clue what flatbed loads pay @ LS. |

There isn't any.
I subscribe to DAT connect and my phone isn't ringing much.
The LS BCO's get more than an outsider gets for pulling the same LS load. Been there done that. |
