| I heard from my buddy who just got off the road that there is a huge Federal investagation on swift and they may be shut down!!! Apperantly they have been giving out CDL's too illegal Alliens like they are candy. He said it is the chatter on the radio these days and may require swift to open all books to 10 years ago to make sure every driver in their company is legit! |

| It wasn't Swift that got pinched, though it certainly casts them in a bad light. It was the non-Swift licensing agency that worked in their training terminal that got nailed for the CDL scam. |

first I've heard of it as well.
The Motor Vehicle Division (arizonas dmv) does the testing for Swift in Goodyear, az. Theres only 2 cdl test centers in the whole phoenix area. Now maybe the state goverment can get in trouble as well. |

| As far as I heard the training facility was taking cash in exchange for a CDL. put them down that they whent threw the Swift training program and had someone on the inside just printing them out. they were bought anywhere from $500 - $2500 bucks( not sure on how much). I guess some illegal ran over a mini van and that is how they got the heads up on it. then they planted a few people to see if they could buy a CDL. not sure what happened as far as if they were able to. heard that from a Swift recruiter. But then again it was a recruiter and everyone knows you can't believe them. :) |

Yeah, I went straight to the top for some info on this situation too - the recruiter that came to our school, ha! He squirmed a bit when I asked about it, but it seems like it's a pretty isolated situation so far. |
