Please take the time to read both the spec sheet and the white paper. At least skim through the white paper, but pay attention to when they compare cycling rates.
Basically, what they're saying is you cannot compare the capacity value of the firefly battery to any other battery. The firefly can be 100% discharged 1000 times, no other battery can hold that. Even after a few dozen discharges to 80%, other batteries seriously get hammered in reserve capacity.
I do like how they did give some "props" to spiral cell batteries(optima) but also pointed out how they have low capacity to begin with.
They do however have low CCA's. I don't think this is a big deal. |
