I got a Garmin StreetPilot 340. Nice unit. The aussie babe is a real companion. But I recommend getting MS Streets and Trips with a GPS receiver. A hundred dollars. You get a nice review of your trip before heading down the road and GPS prompts as you need them.
With the Garmin, all I use it for is when I get off the last ramp. I still use PC Miler and my torn up atlas for everything else. With S&T I could pitch the tattered atlas and wouldn't need PC Miler. |

| Will the Garmin hold a lock on the roads and stay precise when getting off ramp to find street you need. Co-Pilot is not to good in congested areas! Does MS Streets and Trips stay presice and hold a good lock on roads? thanks for any info. |

| It's been awhile since I've used Streets & Trips while driving, but from what I can remember I think the tracking is pretty much dead-on. It doesn't "assume" that you're on the suggested route like Co-Pilot does. Like I said, that's from memory though. |
