| Was planning on going to Central Tech but husband wants us to look into Wichita Area Votech first since it is much closer and will not have to pay out of state tuition. We are planning on paying for our own schooling. We did talk some to them today and was told allot of the time would be spent in a simulator. I would like road time and allot of backing. I have been driving farm harvest trucks for 20 years with 2 speed axels and have driven 30' stock trailers loaded with cattle but this is nothing compared to a big rig. I can only back if I can look out my back window, dont think that will happen with a semi,lol. My daughter and I are taking class together and will be teaming together as well. Any information would be appreciated. |
