I want to see the Patriots go 19-0 and blow every record away BUT, my head is saying otherwise. Pats have been exposed the last couple of weeks, had they been playing big brother Peyton Manning, they would have lost Saturday night. They have been lucky to play teams that don't have that little extra that's needed.
NFC: Dallas vs Green Bay Green Bay gets the nod, that loss to Chicago has got them angry and re-focused
AFC: NE vs Indy Indy finally solves NE at NE in the bad weather
SB: Green Bay all the way, Farve outguns Manning in a high scoring affair |

I feel the same way, Midnight Flyer. Only one thing. I have a bad feeling that it isnt gonna happen.
It might be a repeat of last year. Indy beating the Pats.
Dallas on the other hand better get their act together! They have been playing ugly since the Green Bay game. If they would have played the rest of their season like the way they played against Green Bay, they would have blown everyone out.
Yesterday. Everyone is saying that Dallas just laid down, since they already have the key to the door for the playoffs. Well, true, but I still dont like losing to the stinkin redskins. If that was the case, then why at the end of the first half did Coach Phillips have his first-team offense in there? Why didnt he just try for a field goal? It was only 54 yards. Folk hit a 53 not once, but twice against the Bills. What about Romo? What if he would have tore up a shoulder, or broke something when he got sacked on that last play of the first half?
I could see Dallas going all the way, but they are gonna have to get their crap together. None of this one half playing. In the playoffs, they cant afford to play only one half. Romo better not be giving out tickets to the girls. He better get his head out of his butt, and lead his team to the Super Bowl.
I heard Brad Sham say something yesterday that scared me to death. Sham said that if the redskins beat Seattle, Dallas plays Washington for their first playoff game. That doesnt sound good. I dont like that at all!
Like I said, Midnight Flyer, it might be a repeat of last year. |

Yeah, "Old" Farve might be old, but he can still chunk that ball just as far as any rookie, and just as fast. |

LOL my father in-law is a big GB fan so I'm now a Bears fan. I teased him about the loss and then he retorted with "at least GB didn't finish last in their division" |

I have to believe the Cowboys will be refocused for the playoffs. I think they realize they laid down for the Skins and shouldn't have. Romo is 100% and T.O. is probable for their first playoff game. Glenn is also 100%, they are saying. So, they'll be healthy for it. And if Phillips doesn't light a fire under their butts, Jerry will. :D
I see the Cowboys winning the NFC.
I'm 50/50 on Jax or Indy winning the AFC.
If the Super Bowl is Indy/Dallas, I think Dallas will win it in a high scoring game. I'm not sure they could beat Jax right now, the way Jax is playing.
But the nice thing is, there will be no Patriots in the Super Bowl. They will get rubbed out by either Jax or Indy, both of which are playing much better football than them. |
